Kara’s Previous Roles

Kara comes to us with over 23 years of marketing and operational experience within the vacation rental industry. In her previous role, she led a team of digital marketing account managers and specialists while managing the overall marketing strategies for a portfolio of large vacation rental clients. Kara was responsible for driving the strategic direction of the Digital Marketing Team, which focused on providing proactive client service. Other core responsibilities included team building, training, leadership, mentoring, client onboarding, client retention, account management, and meeting revenue and utilization targets. Kara is a frequent presenter, moderator, and panelist on webinars, including industry conferences.

Kara’s Role at ICND

As ICND’s Director of Client Success, Kara brings over a decade of experience in customer relationship management to her role, ensuring that each client receives strategic guidance, prompt answers to their questions, and the highest level of customer service. With a personal philosophy that “every client’s success is our success,” Kara oversees the smooth transition of clients from our production teams to account management teams, guaranteeing a seamless experience every step of the way. Beyond her duties of leading the Support Team, Kara proactively identifies and swiftly resolves any issues, ensuring client satisfaction at all levels. Looking to tweak or make ongoing improvements to your website? Kara and her team can help manage and guide your one-time or ongoing website enhancements. As your dedicated client advocate, Kara is not just here to help you navigate your experience with ICND; she is deeply committed to contributing to your success.

Meet Kara: A Fresh Face at ICND

Kara hails from Connecticut, New England, and studied at Colby College in Maine. She has resided in Miami, Fl and Killington, VT. Eventually, she returned to her roots, nestled in her home state. Kara lives with her husband, two daughters (12 & 15), and two dogs. You can find Kara outside the office on the sidelines of her girls’ sporting events as a spectator or coach. Her passion for sports shines as she coaches her daughter’s U13 Travel Soccer Team. She also supports her eldest daughter on the sidelines at Varsity Field Hockey games. Kara is constantly training hard for the next race!
