A North Carolina native for most of his life, Drew Pearson feels right at home with his move to Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Did we mention that the InterCoastal Net Designs team couldn’t be happier to have him? Programmers are essential to what we do here – everything from entire website development, to daily support tasks has to be addressed by a programmer. We foresee great things in 2013 and an additional programmer is the perfect jumpstart to this.
When he’s not working hard on our client’s websites, he’s usually exploring his love of photography. In fact, you can check out some of his work here. He also has a 5 year-old son, Miles, who he greatly enjoys spending time with.
Drew’s experience with computers dates back to age 5, when he can first recall using one for the first time. It’s this kind of passion and interest for the job that ICND loves about Drew! When asked what he’s enjoyed most about the ICND team so far, Drew said, “The people! What a great and friendly, staff. I really look forward to working more with them all. I also just really like the business itself, the attention paid to clients, the growth, and the fact that there are always new and exciting projects/challenges to work on.”
Summer, like her name, is a beautiful, warm embrace. A native to the North Carolina coast, specifically Shallotte Point, Summer has enjoyed the luxury of residing in such a quaint and beautiful area over the years, and now raising her own kids in the small town.
This is Summer’s second round with ICND. She had worked here 3 years ago for some time, and is back as our Administrative Assistant and helps us out with many of our daily administrative tasks as well as handling our Support Tickets. She has an extensive background of almost 10 years in the administrative field and excels in support and customer service. She’s our friendly voice answering the phone and inquisitive character responding to support requests.
As a former beauty queen turned go-kart racer, Summer loves an array of activities from all things that glitter to competitions and sports. She’s a wife to Joseph, and mom to Easton and another baby girl on the way. When she’s not handling the fort for ICND or being a great wife and mom, she enjoys dabbling in natural light photography with beautiful portraits of friends and family.
Lela Newell, a recent graduate of Clemson University, joined our team in July as our newest Account Manager. Lela graduated Cum Laude from Clemson with a 3.6 GPA and a major in Communication Studies and a double minor in Spanish and Social Sciences.
Prior to joining ICND, she completed three internships that allowed her to gain experience in communications, public relations and marketing. At Clemson, she interned for the Division of Student Affairs in their publications office for a year and assisted the VP of Student Affairs by writing speeches, developing creative content, producing the annual report and managing all social media accounts. Upon graduating, she held two internships in Asheville, NC as a PR & Marketing intern for WNC Magazine and a Communications intern for Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project. Both allowed her to gain further experience while fine tuning her skills prior to becoming an Account Manager at ICND.
David joined the ICND crew this summer to help us out with developing and programming our ColdFusion websites as well as helping out with support issues. David is a recent graduate of HGTC where he received degrees in Programming and Networking. He is also finishing his Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Technology from Western Kentucky University.
David is fluent in ColdFusion, PHP, JAVA, and .NET. He works in both MySQL and Microsoft SQL database management systems. He is also experienced in Android development. When he’s not programming, you may find him networking computers as he has an extensive knowledge of all things server and computer related.
As a native of Georgetown, SC, David currently resides in Conway, SC. He’s a father of three children – two boys and a girl. He is also an Iraq war veteran. David enjoys all things aviation and likes to build model airplanes and helicopters while listening to the cool shades of Jazz.
